Merger to take effect Fall 2024

Ottawa Knights and Watson Elite announce merger to commence in Fall 2024.

Watson Elite Baseball and the Ottawa Knights are excited to announce a merger between the 2 clubs for the upcoming season.

This will see the programs joining to offer players of ages through 13-18 years old an opportunity to reach their potential and compete against top competition in Canada and the US.

The organization will offer 14U,15U,16U, and 18U age teams.

Both organizations will combine their existing resources to create a great program for Ottawa’s competitive baseball players, sporting a robust coaching staff, elite facilities, and a complete 12-month development program.

“Our two clubs have had a positive relationship over the years and share a common outlook of offering local players a great baseball experience and an opportunity to reach their potential. This is great for baseball in Ottawa and players from 13-18 the opportunity to play and develop in our growing organization.” Tanner Watson, President, Watson Elite Baseball.

“We’re excited to join forces with another great program in this city which has a similar outlook and values as we do. Our goal had always been to help youth baseball players reach their baseball goals by providing a well-structured program run by dedicated people, the right way. We believe this merger allows us to continue doing that and grow the impact we can have for the players in this community” Steve Renaud, President, Ottawa Knights.

Tryouts will take place at Jasmine Park on:

Monday, July 29th - 5 PM

Tuesday, July 30th -  5PM
